Conditions Safely Managed Virtually VEMSA provides specialist-led virtual emergency care via video telehealth for urgent but non-life threatening conditions. This covers a wide range of symptoms and health conditions that don’t warrant spending hours waiting in a hospital ED but do need more urgent attention than can typically be provided by a GP. Our experienced clinicians are also available to provide care and reassurance for minor illnesses as well as general medical advice.

You will be directed to call Triple Zero or present immediately to a hospital emergency department if you or the person you’re caring for is experiencing symptoms of a stroke (facial drooping, arm weakness, speech difficulty), sudden chest pain, loss of consciousness, severe difficulty breathing, uncontrolled bleeding, major trauma, or other life-threatening condition.
