Mr Thair Aldujaili is a highly experienced Consultant General and Obesity Surgeon with over 25 years of surgical practice across a broad range of general and advanced laparoscopic procedures. He is also a lecturer in surgery at the University of Melbourne, contributing to the education and training of future medical professionals.
His clinical expertise spans conventional general surgery, advanced laparoscopic procedures, and both upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Mr Aldujaili has a particular interest in obesity surgery, including sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass procedures (single anastomosis and Roux-en-Y), as well as revision and corrective surgery for previous bariatric operations.
He also manages a wide range of surgical conditions including hernias (including complex and recurrent abdominal wall hernias), endocrine and parotid surgery, breast and axillary conditions, gallbladder and biliary disease, and skin lesion excisions including flap and graft reconstruction.
