Elita is a nurse practitioner with an extensive scope of practice, including comprehensive primary care for adults and children, prescribing rights, and referral rights for pathology and diagnostic imaging. Her areas of experience include managing acute abdominal and musculoskeletal presentations, skin cancer checks, women’s health, weight management, immunisation, travel medicine, bone health consultations, mental health care, and more.
Elita brings years of specialised experience in refugee and humanitarian health, including health screening, trauma-informed mental health assessment, and close collaboration with the Red Cross.
