Dr Khaleel is an Australian-trained general surgeon with broad experience in elective and emergency general surgery across tertiary, regional, and rural health settings. With a Master’s degree in minimally invasive surgery from the University of Adelaide, he is highly skilled with laparoscopic and robotic techniques, and has advanced expertise in complex gall bladder and bile duct surgery, hernia repair, and diagnostic endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy).
Dr Khaleel’s other areas of practice include acute and emergency general surgery, including appendicitis, bowel obstruction, and cholecystitis, as well as managing small bowel pathology, anorectal conditions, lipomas, cysts, carpal tunnel release, and ganglion surgery.
