Dr McNamara is an emergency medicine physician with a Fellowship of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine. He has advanced training in orthopaedic, neurosurgical, and interventional pain medicine, equipping him with a unique approach to patient care that encompasses emergency medicine, surgical intervention, and long-term rehabilitation.
Dr McNamara’s specific areas of interest and expertise include orthopaedic and spine consulting, perioperative medicine, musculoskeletal and pain medicine, regenerative medicine, emergency and trauma care, and multidisciplinary coordination. In addition to his work with VEMSA, he continues to consult in both private and public practice throughout Melbourne.
