Dr Hibble is a Fellow of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) and currently serves as a Non-Executive Director on the ACEM Board, Chair of the Council of Advocacy, Practice & Partnerships, Affiliate Senior Lecturer with Deakin University, and Director of Emergency Services with Barwon Health.
Dr Hibble is a senior emergency physician with over a decade of experience working in busy Australian emergency departments. She cares for both adults and children and has worked across a wide range of acute presentations. Her clinical interests include paediatrics, acute injury care, women’s health, and core emergency medicine practice.
Her approach is patient-centred and pragmatic, combining careful clinical assessment with clear communication to ensure safe, respectful, and efficient care.
Alongside her clinical practice, she has been involved in leadership, education, and service development within emergency care. She is particularly interested in models of care that allow clinicians to provide more continuous, end-to-end support for patients, rather than brief encounters that can sometimes fragment care. Virtual emergency care offers an opportunity to guide patients from first contact through to resolution or appropriate escalation, improving both access and continuity of care.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the beach surfing and chasing waves with her children.
