Dr Muhammad Aaqib is a Consultant Neurologist with a subspecialty focus in chronic migraine and complex headache disorders. He is highly experienced in advanced headache management, including botulinum toxin (Botox) therapy and targeted nerve blocks.
He completed his specialist training across major Western Australian hospitals, followed by advanced subspecialty training at Austin Health in Melbourne in headache disorders, stroke, and movement disorders.
Dr Aaqib is Co-Director of Axon Neurology and is actively involved in clinical research and medical education at Fiona Stanley Hospital. He leads a rapid-access, collaborative headache clinic aimed at reducing wait times and providing timely, effective care for patients with severe headaches.
He is committed to delivering accessible, evidence-based, and patient-centred care, with a focus on both acute symptom relief and long-term management.
Dr Aaqib provides care to patients within Western Australia only.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys cycling and cricket.
