Conditions Safely Managed Virtually VEMSA provides specialist-led virtual emergency care for urgent but non-life threatening conditions. This covers a wide range of symptoms and health conditions that don’t warrant spending hours waiting in a hospital ED but do need more urgent attention than can typically be provided by a GP.

You will be directed to call Triple Zero or present immediately to a hospital emergency department if you or the person you’re caring for is experiencing symptoms of a stroke (facial drooping, arm weakness, speech difficulty), sudden chest pain, loss of consciousness, severe difficulty breathing, uncontrolled bleeding, major trauma, or other life-threatening condition.
