After your initial health concern has been managed, our VEMSA emergency medicine specialists can provide ongoing care:

• To review pathology or imaging test results that may require urgent action
• If you experience deterioration of your symptoms 
• For general follow-up to ensure you’re recovering as expected
• To facilitate admission or re-admission to hospital where necessary, including a professional clinical handover
• If you are travelling interstate and need additional medical review

Please note that your emergency specialist consultation is entirely bulk billed; referral to a non-emergency specialist from the VEMSA independent specialist network if required to escalate your care may attract an additional fee with Medicare rebate.
