Dr Shahnawaz Khan is an experienced Emergency Physician with over 25 years of clinical experience and more than 10 years as a Fellow of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM).
He provides expert assessment and management of acute medical presentations, with a strong focus on patient-centred care, safety, and timely decision-making.
Dr Khan also holds additional qualifications as a Fellow of Industrial Health, reflecting a broader interest in occupational and workplace health.
Within VEMSA, Dr Khan supports patients with urgent medical concerns, providing senior emergency input, guiding appropriate management, and ensuring safe escalation when required.
Outside of clinical practice, he enjoys weight training.
